How to apply the suspended chord or sus chord (exercise 14)

Welcome back, 







During the last tutorial (exercise 13) we learn about list of chords and their Note. Today we are going learn how to apply the suspended chord or sus chord . 








Let's get started!!!!!
THE SUSPENDED CHORDS
 The suspended chords or the sus chord is a musical chord in which the major 3rd of a chord is been replace by the perfect fourth or the major 2nd.
 There are two types of sus chord

  • The sus 2 
  • The sus 4
The sus 2 chord is a chord formed when the major 3rd of a chord is been replace by the major 2nd

MAJOR CHORD            SUS 2 CHORD




DOH- MI - SOH            DOH- REH- SOH


HOW TO APPLY THE SUS 2 CHORD

The sus 2 chord chord is applied before playing the fifth chords which is the SOH chord.
When playing a song and you want t apply the Sus2 chord before SOH, all you need to do is to divide the time you will use to stay on the soh chord into two and use the first time to play the sus 2 chord then use the second time to play the soh chord.
The sus 4 chord  
The sus 4 chord chord is applied before playing the root chords which is the DOH chord.
When playing a song and you want t apply the Sus4 chord before DOH, all you need to do is to divide the time you will use to stay on the doh chord into two and use the first time to play the sus 4 chord then use the second time to play the doh chord.
