How to play on all the 12 keys on the piano perfectly. (exercise 12)

Welcome back,

During the last tutorial (exercise 11) we learn about  CIRCLE OF FOURTH and  PASSING CHORD
Today we are going learn how to play on all the 12 keys on the piano perfectly.
Hope you enjoy the last tutorial exercise 11☺😉? Yes i did! !
Very Good 👏

Let's get started!!!!!

 NO MORE TRANSPOSING OF SONGS

Before we proceed you have t make up your mind to stop transposing from hence forth because the more you transpose is the more you get weaker on playing on all the keys.

HOW CAN I AVOID TRANSPOSING?

Yes, it is normal for pianist to have a favorite key they play comfortable on, but playing on all key is as simple as anything you can think of.

firstly, all the 12 keys on the piano has the same placement pattern.

example: when playing C major chord which is C E G and you want to move to the C#  major chord, all you need to do is to move a chromatic step forward and that is it you are on C#.
you can use the same pattern on other keys. it as simple as that.

HOW CAN I PLAY A SONG ON A NEW KEY?

When playing a song on a key u just learn, all you need to do first on the key before play a song are
  • practice the Major scale on the on the key and increase the speed.
  • identify the major and the minor chord in the major scale scale.
                    EXAMPLE:  DOH (MAJOR chord)
REH  (minor chord)
MIH  (minor chord)
FAH  (Major chord)
SOH  (major chord)
LAH  (minor chord)
TIH  (diminish chord)
  • Practice the 1-4-5 chord progression on the key.
  • Now you can now play the as simple as you can play it.
  • Practice the song and increase the speed as fast as you can so that your fingers will be able to master the key.
Once you do all this listed above and you keep on practicing, you won't have problem playing on all the 12 keys.

Hope you understood all we treated today?
